Furnishing Collaborative Spaces
Overview: As part of the landmark 101 College Street development, PPS furnished 75,000 SF of amenity spaces in this innovative life sciences hub. Anchored by Yale University and Alexion Pharmaceuticals, this project plays a key role in New Haven’s Downtown Crossing initiative, fostering innovation and connectivity.
PPS’s Role: PPS provided high-quality furniture solutions for the atrium, event spaces, conference areas, and outdoor seating. The design features custom planters with integrated bench seating, as well as event and conference furnishings, and durable outdoor solutions, creating functional environments that foster collaboration and community engagement.
Additionally, PPS installed custom veneer wall paneling behind the reception area and along the stairway.
Impact: The result is a dynamic, flexible space that supports scientists, entrepreneurs, and students in an environment designed for innovation. PPS enhances this state-of-the-art facility by blending aesthetics, comfort, and functionality, reinforcing New Haven’s growing life sciences hub.
